Miscellaneous
Architecture
1998 to 2003 - Before I got into industrial design I studied architecture for 5 years at the TU Vienna.
Those years were very important to me as a professional as well as a person.
I worked on moving architecture, computer interfaces and building surveys as well as on a lunar-base.
EXPANDER - a time tweaking clock
The Expander questions the common way of displaying time by manipulating the visual perception.
The concept was the deviation between the watch hand and one’s personal rhythm.
The PMMA lens bends time, speeds up or slows down the hands and extends your break.
And all this by unchanged functionality and readability.
Straight Line - LED desk lamp
Straight Line is a minimalist LED light for desktop use.
The concept idea is that the conductive elements (wires) not only supply electricity.
They are also part of the supporting structure and replace the hinges. This results in a very compact and exclusive design, with a modular construction and very flexible handling.
Special thanks to Lunatone and Alexander Mair for supporting me with know how and material.
10 Second Portrait
This project is a scientific but very honest and personal interpretation of a traditional portrait.
It is painted by my eyes and subconscious using a contemporary eye tracking system.
PUMA <> - Urban Sneaker
Puma <> is a design and task study of an urban sneaker.
Different lacing systems as well as ventilation and jeans saving systems were contemplated.
Transportation Sketches
In 2006 I worked on car/truck interiors and exteriors during a transportation project.
